Matunas Surf Wax was birthed by a Cali surfer by the name of Matt Mattoon. He wanted to make a surf wax that contained organic ingredients from local areas in California. Using organic surf wax is important – think about it…we lay on it, stand on it, accidentally get some stuck in our teeth, not to mention put it in our beloved ocean.
We’re all constantly preaching against littering beaches & oceans, yet we pollute the water every time we surf with harmful wax. They have five types of wax: basecoat, cold, cool, warm, and tropical depending on the temperature of your local break. Matunas Wax is very sticky and bumps up great while remaining tacky after surf sessions.
